The trustees have said they would consider a loan to Greece if Greece acknowledges the British Museum's ownership of the sculptures, which Greek governments have refused in the past. The British Museum in January 2023 called for a new Parthenon Partnership with Greece and said discussions were ongoing.

But each day, the current state of the world dissuades me more and more from having children. Like many folks in Gen Z (those born between 1997 and 2012), my main concern is climate change. As environmental catastrophes reach a caliber we cannot predict or conceive, having children is becoming less of a risk I’m willing to take. Coupled with the resources and opportunities that the US provides, my hypothetical children likely wouldn’t be among the worst-affected by climate change. Under today’s environmental and political climate, I find it is better to regret not having children than regret having them.

CNN —Greece has announced that it will limit the number of daily visitors to the Acropolis in order to guarantee the safety and longevity of the ancient monument. From September, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Athens will admit no more than 20,000 visitors a day, according to the country’s culture minister, Lina Mendoni. “That creates unpleasant conditions for the site, the visitors and the staff who are trying to accommodate this high volume of people,” she added. Mendoni said that the measure will allow the government to protect the monument and enhance the overall experience for visitors. LinkedIn may be developing an AI-powered job coach, according to web developer Nima Owji. Microsoft, which owns LinkedIn, has been focusing on the development of AI tools. LinkedIn seems to be planning the release of an AI "coach" to assist users with job searching, applications, and researching things like a company's culture. "Introducing LinkedIn Coach," the page reads. LinkedIn did not comment specifically on the development of the Coach tool.

The community land trust model was largely used in rural communities until the 1980s, when Cincinnati became the first city to have a land trust operate in an urban neighborhood. In 1984, Senator Sanders, who was then the mayor of Burlington, created one to help address his city’s housing crisis. In 2020, the East Harlem El Barrio community land trust bought four apartment buildings that had fallen into disrepair from the city for one dollar each. Around the country, activists have also used community land trusts in nontraditional ways. Steve King, the executive director of the Oakland Community Land Trust, said California has seen its number of land trusts double in the last few years.

The photo is in fact a screenshot from a 2022 movie. The image, posted to Facebook on July 2, shows a masked individual flying the French tricolor while sitting atop a moving police van. Captions added by social media users suggest that they believe the image shows a moment during the recent riots. The picture is a screenshot taken from the trailer for a movie.
